Kearney Art in the Park. Just popping in to share my story about painting the neighborhood. I listened to an artist interview recently where he spoke about never throwing out any of his paintings. Artists from around the Midwest travel to Kearney the second Sunday in July ( and now the Saturday prior too) to exhibit and sell one-of-a-kind art works in the beautiful Harmon Park. For many artists the last five months have brought feelings of uncertainty. I listened to a very good podcast a few months ago and it has stuck in my head. She is represented by Atlantic Gallery, an artist co-op in Chelsea, NYC and Cerulean Arts Collective in Philadelphia. In 1985 I received the Governor's Art Award. Generally, Taylor-Kearney works in series that she compiles in multiple presentations. I am one of the Founders of the Museum of Nebraska Art in Kearney, NE.
