Reinstalled the old ignition switch. Does it go off when you drive it or does it still go off when the car is running and the door is closed? Following Guru9X1M1X post, I switched it back to automatic and the chime stopped. Basically, there are a couple things to test but I suspect the ignition switch is your issue. The chime sometomes stops if I latch the lap belt. And for some reason i am able pull out my key. However, this morning, my battery was dead, but the chime worked.... Thanks for any help.
