The AC light also comes on when I hit the "MODE" button. I'm wondering if this is the blower resistor, or perhaps the blower motor, but if the capacitor will fix these sympoms that'd be great. Do i buy a new climate control set or just the peice thats broken? Have been unable to locate the source of this issue. Installed a pioneer double-din below it so I could play movies, radio, etc..... [ my main media hub]. Most thermostats display a low-battery symbol when the juice is running low. I've also had the sporadic sunroof open/close problem and just last week my odometer display went out (but now it's back). Than i lost all my message. It may be your climate control is slowly giving up on you... Good Luck. It is possible that, for this problem, the solution would be to get a new ignition switch. I need to clarify that the climate control is working fine with no problems at all the only thing i want to fix is the look so i can see the numbers on the display. Run that by one more time. This still has blown my mind and this seems the closest I can get to someone with a similar issue...

Frankly, I wish they would design a home HVAC system that is as integrated and simple to use. OK, the climate control is fixed! Sometimes it is just time to replace it. I pulled the controls out of the dash and unplugged the two plugs on the back and they both seemed fine plugged it back in and it was working again. If the climate control system is louder than you prefer, manually reduce the fan speed.
