There's a lot going on in this book, from various character connections to the unveiling of the true events of that fateful night, but it lends itself to the story. Adding to library failed. Every mystery novel needs an unexpected twist. This lie will kill you book summary. Some of the writing is very flowery, lyrical and poetic and then sometimes the writing is juvenile and ends up reading like a Wattpad fanfic. But although narration of this style kept cropping up, it wasn't constant. As Anna delves deeper into the mystery, stepping further and further into Zoe's life, she becomes increasingly convinced that she and Zoe are connected. Parker is a freaking stalker and everyone pretty much knows it but does nothing about it. Ruby had watched her mother transform into a ghost, and it scared her more than she would ever admit.

I'm one of those readers who likes to guess the whodunnit ending, usually satisfied when I get it and love it when I don't. This Lie Will Kill You by Chelsea Pitcher sounded like the perfect mystery. They were all invited to a scholarship dinner, only to discover it's a trap. A thrilling murder mystery, perfect for fans of Riverdale, One of Us is Lying and A Good Girl's Guide to Murder. She traced her finger along the curve of the weapon, keeping the barrel pointed away from her. If I were in a similar situation, I would totally die. I read the book and I found it very enjoyable! Twelve months ago Shane was killed and now the 5 people linked to him are invited to the aforesaid mysterious house on the pretense of winning a $50k university scholarship.
