Thanks in advance, MC4M. Instead, Hägerman used a CAN shield on his Arduino to read the button presses from the car's built-in CAN bus. As the title states, today my steering wheel buttons for the radio stopped working altogether. I've checked the fuses and they all seem to be good. If I'm gong to test a system I remove the battery term.

He's changing the air bag ECU, has the key on and using a impact driver to loosen the torx bolts. However, if you are thinking to order the module, then replacing it is not that hard (it just slides out from left to right and then the new one may be slided in). Sorry, too new, haven't seen or read about that issue before. Pay attention that this is not easy to remove as it's well fixed, and pulling it harder than it should may break it easily. The clock spring is what transfers signal from the steering wheel to the column through a ribbon cable wrapped inside to allow the wheel to turn while still having connectivity. I also looked in the column to looks for anything visually obvious like loos harnesses or broken wires. Received 3, 520 Likes on 2, 925 Posts. There is about 2" clearance between trans and crossmember. I may have a faulty buttons but I though I ask if there was something I'm missing.
