Age 72, of Montour Falls, NY passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. Age 71, of Watkins Glen, NY died very unexpectedly on Friday, April 8, 2022 at his home from a heart attack. She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Jack Smith II; brothers and their wives, Bill & Maggie Wakeman of TX, and Larry & Kathy Wakeman of NY; sister and her husband: Carla and Joe Mospan of CA; niece Jill Hoos and great niece Jessica; nephew and wife Robert & Ksandra Wakeman and great niece; and several aunts and uncles, cousins, and friends. He enjoyed life to the fullest and always thought of other people before himself. In addition to her own family, she helped touch the lives of over forty children and their families by being a childcare provider. The service will be at 11:30 a. m., and will be followed by a meal in the church's Fellowship Hall. There will be no calling hours, and burial will be at the convenience of the family. Paul relocated to Tyrone, where he purchased his farm and built his own home out of an existing chicken coop on the property.

He was born in Montour Falls, NY on September 9, 1948, the son of the late Robert and Hilda Hoover. Rick was preceded in death by his parents, Richard E. Huyler, Sr. and Dora M. Wright; son, Richard Huyler, III; sister, Laura Huyler; and stepmother, Jan Huyler. Stephen enjoyed Seneca Lodge, and his involvement there was one of his greatest pleasures. A Mass will be held at 11:00 a. on Saturday, November 12 at St. Mary's of the Lake Church, 905 Decatur St., Watkins Glen. She was born in Tioga, PA on August 26 1954 to James and Catherine McMinds. She was looking forward to the birth of Megan's son, her first grandchild, and Elise's wedding later this summer. Family and friends are invited to attend a calling hour on Monday, July 11 from 1 p. to 2 p. at the James D. Barrett Funeral Home, 1004 Lake St., Elmira. Jack followed his heart in the service of others and trained to become a funeral director, purchasing a business in Corning with his wife Pat. According to him, the greatest baseball team of all time was The Yankees. Jim was a carpenter for several area businesses from 1988-2018. Marvin passed away in 1942. Larry was an avid hunter and a member of the Spencer Masonic Lodge, Montour Moose Lodge, Mechanics Club, and Millport Hunting & Fishing Club.
